About Komana

Komana love creating fun and individual clothing and textiles with bold, quirky and unique prints that tell a story, whilst carefully choosing organic and fairly traded materials and ethical production ways for the canvas of their ideas. With a fascination for tribal art and folklore, pretty much all things out of the ordinary, the visionary world of artists, musicians and the wonders of nature serve as the brands never ending design inspiration. Developing print designs in rather old fashioned method, working with collage, free hand drawing and paint brushing. Then printing the textiles with silkscreens, and manufacture with much love in London, and newly also Jaipur, India. Komana aim to create desirable objects whilst also giving something back to the planet. We are proud that for every Komana garment sold,  a tree is planted in Niger, Africa! Thanks to Tree Nation, the planting community united against climate change, who are growing our Komana Forest! Komana was founded by Swiss sisters Nina, a seamstUltra-Teeress, and Livia Henne, a print designer trained at Central St. Martins in London and is currently run by Livia and her small team in London.
