About Augustine Jewels
About Augustine Jewels
Augustine Jewels is a successful British Luxury Jewellery Brand which is now sold all over the world.
The designs are hand drawn, then the finest gems are hand selected and finally the pieces are hand made by some of the best craftsmen in London who have been making jewellery for generations. The result is 'the most exquisite handmade jewels.' Each collection is inspired by a luxury destination. Augustine Jewels immortalises the memories of a beautiful location into a jewellery collection. Each collection represents a place, its colours, its beauty and most importantly of all, its precious moment. The brand therefore reflects different influences that make up the global nature of our world.
About Alexandra - Founder of Augustine Jewels
Augustine Studios was part of the famous design group The Silver Studio from 1860 to 1963. Collections from The Silver Studio are curated at Middlesex University and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Augustine Studios was bought by the founder of Augustine Jewels, Alexandra in 1995 with a dream of being able to revive it as a design studio at a later date. Alexandra attended Esmod School of Fashion and Design in Paris from 1988 - 1989 where she won an award for jewellery design. She went onto Cambridge University (BA) and Stanford University (MA). After University, she built a career in Strategy and Marketing with Accenture and was made a Partner in 2000. She later became Global Head of CRM for the Consumer Goods Sector with Accenture. After a career break to raise her children, Alexandra studied Jewellery Design at the Gemological Institute of America and became an Accredited Jewellery Professional (AJP). She also trained with the GIA in diamond and coloured stone grading. She is on the Board of the Geffrye Museum in London.
